Vehicle changes:
Some cool new stuff now!
Stunt DPV
We've completely rejigged it now. The big, useless and buggy gun is gone now, and instead it is more of a racing car. I've edited the mesh, Ivan's made some new sound, and it's got a tonne of speed, while still being controllable! It's also glossy and reflective, the car is black.
MEC FAV
We realised that having boulders for wheels makes it USELESS. We've done a similar thing to it as we did to the Stunt DPV. It's now faster, more controllable, and looks and sounds awesome. It too is glossy and reflective, the car is metalic grey.
Hoverjeep
It's now all done! Drive it on land or sea, the car is fast and fun to drive. Naval driving is difficult to master, but once you do, it's easy (much like the flying tank). There are a few tips and tricks we (Ivan particularly) can give you to drive at your best; a very versatile vehicle.
Headlights
This affects pretty much all the vehicles; headlights are now very nice looking. They're also less laggy and obstructive... You'll like them, oh, and the actual light is gone from them, but it's okay since it was horribly slow for the BF2 Engine.
Turret
Turret? What turret?
Static Objects:
Mostly bug fixes really.
Lightbulb
Hey, it works online now! Very VERY useful.
Nuke
If you see a suitcase... Run.
Other Changes:
Miscellaneous improvements.
Animation
Had some glitches in it.
Map Set-ups
The maps are now set to load the content in a different way to before, so adding content is a LOT less work for us; just drop a file into the maps.
Soldiers
As long as someone is hosting (such as singleplayer, or a Hamachi server), soldiers can be spawned. The spawned soldiers are completely idle, but you can kill them if you want. Careful spawned them into the hundreds, anyone connected to your server might experience crashes as the network gets overloaded.
City Mode
I've added a couple of jobs, and now you can buy different companies to gain special privileges or money-making opportunities.
Overview:
All in all, we've tried to have the first bug-free version of Roflbox. As you can see, this has taken a LOT longer than usual as far as versions go. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes changes, which just minutely change the performance, but make it a lot easier to make more content in the future. All the little problems that had built up over the versions should be gone, and you can expect a release shortly.
